Megan Cheesbrough joined Arc’teryx in 2013, bringing a strong background in the athletic apparel industry including roles at The North Face and Nike, Megan brings an in-depth understanding of the business and how to create meaningful and lasting customer experiences. As a direct result of holding roles in retail, wholesale, brand marketing, and sales, Megan brings a unique level of empathy, understanding, and appreciation for the needs and challenges of operating in the outdoor apparel industry.
Today as Vice President Retail Excellence at Arc’teryx, Megan is responsible for leading the global retail network and in-store brand experience initiatives. With a combined passion for the outdoors and delivering premium brand experiences, Megan has elevated the company’s retail experience with a relentless focus on exceptional execution. Connecting with people, helping others realize their potential, and creating meaningful experiences for consumers continues to fuel Megan’s work at Arc’teryx, and she sees retail as a magical place to bring all of these elements together. Megan also serves on the Senior Leadership Team.
A Vancouver local via Ontario, Megan received a Bachelor of Science, Psychology from Trent University, in addition, completing to a post-graduate management program in Eco and Adventure Tourism from Sir Sanford Fleming College.
Today, Megan spends her time outside of the office hiking, skiing, paddling, and creating memories with friends and family in the outdoors. She also enjoys learning about new cultures and countries, which is a perk of traveling to new cities around the world for work.
