Position: Vice President, Information Systems

Andrew McLellan joined Arc’teryx in 1995 and has spent the past two decades developing within the company and providing vision and leadership in all aspects of information systems management and operations.

Today as VP, Information Systems, Andrew leads a team of over 60 people to deliver technologies and systems for Arc’teryx. His role keeps him involved in all aspects of data and information management including hardware, data security, and building both front- and back-end systems. Andrew also serves on the Senior Leadership Team.

Andrew is passionate about the career development of his team, and gets great satisfaction by mentoring those around him. He has a penchant for people, and is an advocate for maintaining the unique culture at Arc’teryx.

A New Zealand local, Andrew spent time at Ryerson University for Theatre Management, and also completed the Essential Management Skills program at Sauder School of Business and CIO Canada Leadership Program at Ryerson University. He was awarded the 40 Under 40 award from SGB Media.

Today, Andrew is an active sport climber, mountain biker, and skier. He and his wife wrangle four kids, and make jewelry in their spare time. Andrew also maintains a routine mindfulness practice to keep him grounded.
